Gary Do’s first recorded live cash occurred in February 2003 during the L.A Poker Classic in Los Angeles. He finished in 15th place in a $500 + 40 Omaha Hi/Lo Event #4, cashing $1,280.

During the 36th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in July 2005, he finished in 4th place. He joined in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em and secured his biggest live cash of $164,500.

In July 2005, Gary competed in a $1,500 + 70 No Limit Hold’em during the Ultimate Poker Challenge in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place and won $24,445.

Luck favored him as he won $27,375 during the California State Poker Championship in September 2005. Gary joined in a $500 + 40 No Limit Hold’em – Shootout and also finished in 1st place.

He continued his winning streak during the Legends of Poker in August 2007. He participated in a $485 + 45 Stud Hi/Lo & Omaha Hi/Lo Championship Event and $30,070 added to his winnings.

Later in September of that year, he participated in a $750 + 60 No Limit Hold’em at the World Poker Tour – Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City. Gary finished in 3rd place and earned $23,044.

Most recently, in September 2017, he competed in a $350 Omaha Hi/Lo Stud Hi/Lo during the Commerce Poker Series in Los Angeles. Gary placed 7th and took home $950.
