Freddie Legaspi began his poker career in March 1999 at a $100 No Limit Hold’em event during the $120,000 Guaranteed No Rebuy Poker Week in Compton. He secured 2nd place and took home $3,940.

Then, in June 2001, he entered the California State Poker Championship in Los Angeles, a $300 + $30 No Limit Hold’em tournament. There, he achieved 1st place and took home $24,975.

After this success, he continued to compete and, in October 2004, participated in the 2004 National Championship of Poker in Inglewood, playing a $100 + $25 Limit Hold’em event. Once again, he finished 2nd, receiving $10,880.

Following a few years of experience, in February 2006, he competed in the Poker Classic in Los Angeles in a $9,600 + $400 Championship Event – No Limit Hold’em. He placed 26th and collected $39,859.

Years after, he played in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the 46th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in July 2015. He ranked 672nd and received $15,000.
