Fred Berger is an American professional poker player from Slidell, Louisiana, with over $1.3 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $197,584 came when he finished in 1st place at the WSOPC New Orleans in May 2010. Additionally, he clinched his first bracelet at the 33rd World Series of Poker in May 2002.
Fred Berger’s first recorded live cash occurred in August 2001 during the 2nd Annual Mid-America Poker Classic in Tunica. He finished in 5th place in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event, cashing $4,845.
In May 2002, Fred played in a $3,000 Pot Limit Hold’em at the 33rd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place and won $197,400.
At the 38th WSOP in June 2007, he earned a cash prize of $108,105. Fred participated in a $5,000 World Championship Mixed Hold’em and secured 5th place.
Later in July of that year, he participated in a $2,500 + 120 No Limit Hold’em during the Bellagio Cup III in Las Vegas. Fred clinched victory and $86,080 was added to his winnings.
