Frank Henderson

Frank Henderson was born on December 14, 1931, and currently resides in Houston, Texas. He pursued a career as an electrical engineer, but he also developed a passion for poker. Over the years, he showcased his skills in various tournaments, earning more than $1.5 million in live tournament earnings.

One of his notable achievements came in May 1987 when he finished in 2nd place at the 18th World Series of Poker (WSOP), earning a significant cash prize of $250,000. Continuing his success, Frank secured his first WSOP bracelet at the 20th WSOP in May 1998, where he won $184,000.

Frank Henderson’s first live cash occurred in May 1982, he placed second in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 13th World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, earning $38,400.

Years after, in May 1986, he finished second again in the $1,500 Limit Hold’em event at the 17th WSOP, earning $109,875.

Furthermore, in May 1987, he took second place in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship at the 18th WSOP, cashing $250,000.

In addition, in May 1989, Henderson won first place in the $2,500 Omaha Pot Limit event at the 20th WSOP, receiving $184,000.

Later that year, in August 1989, he participated in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 5th Annual Diamond Jim Brady tournament in Los Angeles, finishing fourth and earning $48,000.

Moreover, in January 1995, he won first place in the $500 + 30 Limit Hold’em event at the Queens Poker Classic V in Las Vegas, collecting $45,800.

In May 2014, he placed 11th in the $1,500 Seven Card Razz event (Event #7) at the 45th WSOP in Las Vegas, cashing $6,852.
