Frank Funaro is an American professional poker player from New Jersey. He boasts an impressive record in tournaments, having accumulated over $3.5M in live tournament earnings and securing 2 WSOP bracelets. His highest live cash amounts to $1.3M. Frank is also active in online tournaments and is the brother of Nicholas Funaro.
Funaro’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 2016 at the Borgata Summer Poker Open in Atlantic City. He finished 4th place in a $150 + 30 No Limit Hold’em – Survivor, departing with $1,500.
Moving in July 2022, he finished 44th in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em at the 53rd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He secured a cash prize of $214,200
During the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in December 2022, he achieved his biggest live cash of $1,301,000 by placing 5th in a $9,800 + 600 No Limit Hold’em event.
Luck favored him as he cashed $270,238 in a $25,000 No Limit Hold’em – High Roller – 8-Handed event at The 54th WSOP in June 2023, finishing in 6th place.
Moreover, he emerged victorious at the 55th WSOP in June 2024. Funaro took part in a $7,000 + 3000 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $612,997.
