Fabrice Soulier is a French professional poker player who currently resides in Malta, with over $6.4 million in live tournament earnings. Fabrice won during the Summer Tournament Paris in July 2003. His best live cash of $824,513 came when he finished in 2nd place at the WSOPE Enghien-les-Bains in October 2013. He also clinched his first bracelet at the 42nd WSOP in June 2011.
Away from the poker table, he was born on April 23, 1919, in Avignon, France. Fabrice earned a degree in International Relations. After graduating, he pursued a career aligned with his interests in film and television. He began as an assistant film director and created the award-winning TV series A Guy and a Girl, which received Sept d’Or honors. He also directed Farce Attaque in 1998 and several children’s television programs for Canal.
While he focuses on poker full-time, he has managed to stay involved in television production. He worked as a poker instructor for a French TV show called NRJ PokerStars, appeared in the 2006 documentary That’s Poker, and launched his own poker website, MadeInPoker.com, in 2007.
Fabrice Soulier first recorded live cash occurred in April 2000 during the Spring Tournament in Paris. He finished in 7th place in a FF200 Limit Hold’em, cashing $219.
In July 2003, Fabrice played in a €1,000 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Event #3 during the Summer Tournament in Paris. He finished in 1st place and won $16,691.
At the Partouche Poker Tour in Cannes in September 2010, he earned a cash prize of $701,320. Fabrice participated in a €7,750 + 750 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event and finished in 3rd place.
Following this, in June 2011, Fabrice entered in a $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. – Championship at the 42nd WSOP. He finished in first place and won $609,130.
During the Event #6 of WSOPE in Enghien-les-Bains in October 2013, he joined in a €10,000 + 450 No Limit Hold’em. He finished in 2nd place and secured his biggest live cash of $824,513.
Continuing his poker career, he finished in 1st place at the EPT in Vienna, winning $542,342.
Most recently, in December 2023, he competed in a $2,750 + 250 No Limit Hold’em – 6-Max at the WPT World Championship. Fabrice placed 31st and cashed $8,814.
