Erick Lindgren is an American professional poker player from Burney, California who currently resides in Las Vegas. He has accumulated earnings exceeding $11 million from live tournaments, with his highest live cash totaling $1,000,000. During his poker career, he secured two WSOP bracelets at the 39th WSOP in June 2008 and 44th WSOP in June 2013.

Erick was married to Erica Schoenberg, a professional poker player, they divorced in 2014. He has also appeared on High Stakes Poker.

Erick Lindgren, formerly sponsored by Full Tilt Poker, is being sued by PokerStars for $2.5 million. The lawsuit stems from a duplicate payment and unpaid loans. PokerStars decided to take legal action after failing to recover the debt through other means.

What happened to Erick Lindgren?

Before clinching his second WSOP bracelet, he was deep in debt and struggling with a gambling addiction. By 2012, his problems were so serious that he had to go to a rehab clinic for help. After completing treatment, he returned to poker.

Erick Lindgren still plays regularly, but not as often as he used to, he’s more focused on coaching his child’s football team.

In June 2008, at the 39th WSOP, Lindgren won his first bracelet by placing first in a $5,000 Limit/No Limit Hold’em event, earning $374,505.

By June 2013, he won his second bracelet at the 44th WSOP in the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em – 6 Handed event, with a prize of $606,317.
