Eric Worre: Early Life

Eric Worre was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He embarked on his professional journey in 1987, accumulating over three decades of experience in the industry. At the tender age of 23, Worre found himself in the challenging position of providing for his young family. Despite being a junior college dropout with limited marketable skills, he had already navigated through 18 different minimum wage jobs. It was at this critical juncture that Network Marketing intervened, altering the course of his life. 

Worre embraced direct selling as a full-time distributor. He even faced nearly three and a half years of persistent struggle without yielding tangible results. Eric Worre: Poker Career

Eric Worre’s poker journey began in October 2005 during the 2005 Fall Poker Classic in Shakopee. He made his debut in the live tournament scene, securing an impressive 8th place in the $200 + $25 7 Card Stud event and cashing for $876. Fast forward to July 2015, Worre achieved his first significant victory by winning the $1,100 No Limit Hold’em event. It occurred at the Deep Stack Extravaganza III in Las Vegas. He claimed the top spot and earned $326,764.

Continuing his success, in March 2016 at the Aria High Roller 27 in Las Vegas. Worre showcased his skill by securing 3rd place in the $24,000 + $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event. He earned $137,280. In September 2022, he achieved a commendable 17th place in the $200,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Kyrenia. He walked away with a substantial cash prize of $380,000.

March and May of 2021 saw Worre securing 2nd place in consecutive $25,000 No Limit Hold’em events. It happened during the PokerGO Tour – Aria High Roller Series in Las Vegas. He accumulated cash prizes of $264,000 and $189,000, respectively. In June 2022, his participation in the 53rd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas resulted in a commendable 10th place finish in the $100,000 No Limit Hold’em event. He took home $162,623.

Worre’s most recent live tournament participation occurred in February 2023 at the World Series of Poker Circuit in Las Vegas. Competing in the $2,200 No Limit Hold’em event, he secured a 6th place finish and walked away with a cash prize of $8,893.
