Eric Ruffman’s first recorded live cash occurred in December at the 2004 Trump Classic in Atlantic City. He ended up in 10th place in a $300 + 40 Limit Hold’em, cashing $445.

In June 2024, Eric competed in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em – Seniors Championship Bracelet Event #46 during the 55th WSOP. He ended up in 141st place, earning a prize of $5,654.
