Eli Balas is an American professional poker player from Las Vegas, Nevada, with over $1.3 million in live tournament earnings. He has won a total of three WSOP bracelets during his poker career. One was at the 23rd WSOP in 1992, another was at the 30th WSOP in 1999, and his third was at the 35th WSOP in 2004. His biggest live cash came in May 1999 when he won $220,000 along with his second WSOP bracelet.
Eli Balas’ first recorded live cash occurred on April 26th, 1992 at the 23rd World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. He finished in 10th place in a $2,500 7 Card Stud, cashing $3,975.
Shortly after, on May 8th, 1992, he joined in a $1,500 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo at the 23rd WSOP. He finished in 1st place and won $122,400.
Following this, Eli joined in a $1,500 Limit Hold’em at the 26th WSOP in April 1995. He finished in 2nd place and earned $159,600.
At the 30th WSOP in May 1999, he finished in 1st place. Eli took part in a $5,000 No Limit Hold’em and won his biggest live cash of $220,000.
Continuing his career, he competed in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em – Final at the Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas in May 2002. Eli finished in 7th place and took home $34,780.
