Duc Thang Nguyen’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 2004 at the Rendez Vous a Paris. He finished in 8th place in a €10,000 WPT No Limit Hold’em, earning $62,172.

Following this, in October 2006, Duc Thang entered in a €5,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the EPT in Baden. He made 1st place finish, winning his best live cash of $619,082.
