Donnacha O’Dea is an Irish professional poker player from Dublin, with over $1.3 million in live tournament earnings. In April 1998, he won his first bracelet at the 29th WSOP. His best live cash of $300,000 came when he won Poker Million The Masters in July 2004.
Donnacha O’Dea’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 1983 at the America’s Cup Of Poker in Las Vegas He finished in 3rd place in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $10,900.
In April 1998, Donnacha entered in a $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha at the 29th WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place, adding $154,800 to his winnings.
Following this, in January 2000, Donnacha played in a $1,000 + 60 Pot Limit Hold’em at the Carnivale of Poker III in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place, winning $70,400.

Moreover, in June 2015, Donnacha engaged in a €3,200 + 300 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the PaddyPower Irish Poker Open in Dublin. He ended up in 5th place, pocketing $66,923.
In June 2024, Donnacha competed in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em – Seniors Championship Bracelet Event #46 at the 55th WSOP. He ended up in 751st place, earning $2,100.
