Dewey Weum’s first recorded live cash occurred in May 1983 at the 14th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 8th place in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $5,820.
In January 1993, Dewey entered in a $5,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event at the Queens Poker Classic III in Las Vegas. He finished in 2nd place and earned $96,600.
