Denis Ethier is an American professional poker player from Las Vegas, Nevada, with over $1.08 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $160,682 came when he clinched his first bracelet at the 36th WSOP in June 2005.
Denis Ethier’s first recorded live cash occurred in October 1996 during the United States Poker Championship in Atlantic City. He finished in 8th place in a $500 + 40 7 Card Stud 8 or Better, cashing $1,780.
On June 19th, 2005, Dennis played in a $2,000 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo at the 36th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place and won his biggest live cash of $160,682 to date.
Shortly after, on July 7th, he participated in a $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em – World Championship at the same WSOP event. Dennis secured 196th place and took home $39,075.
Later in October of that year, he participated in a $2,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em during the Bellagio Festa Al Lago IV in Las Vegas. Dennis finished in 3rd place and earned $43,505.
At the World Poker Tour – Borgata Winter Open in Atlantic City in January 2006, he earned a cash prize of $153,720. Dennis participated in a $2,500 + 150 No Limit Hold’em and secured 2nd place.
In June 2011, Dennis entered a $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. at the 42nd WSOP. He reached the final table, placing 6th for $43,512.
