Davood Mehrmand’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 1997 during the Wiesbaden Festival. He finished in 3rd place in a DM100 Pot Limit Seven Card Stud, cashing $1,623.

On June 29th, 2004, he played in a £500 Pot Limit Hold’em during the European Poker Championships in London. Davood finished in 1st place and won $62,806.

Shortly after, on July 3rd, 2004, he entered in a £2,000 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event at the same event. Davood finished in 2nd place and earned a cash prize of $107,385.

At the The Sixth Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open in Tunica in January 2005, he secured a cash prize of $54,759. Davood participated in a $2,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em and finished in 3rd place.

Later in June of that year, he participated in a $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha at the 36th WSOP in Las Vegas. Davood finished in 3rd place and secured his biggest live cash of $194,210.

Moreover, in December 2005, Davood joined in a $15,000 + 300 Main Event – No Limit Hold’em at the Fourth Annual Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas. He place 29th and took home $48,300.

Most recently, in October 2018, he competed in a €100 + 10 No Limit Hold’em – Daily Turbo Tournament
at the WSOPE in Rozvadov. Davood placed 6th and cashed $654.
