David Plastik is an American professional poker player from Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from the University of Hartford and initially worked as a photographer for music magazines. David also spent time as a salesman in his father’s textile business company before he started to achieve success at the poker tables.

David has over $2.2 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $306,180 came when he finished in 1st place at the Poker Classic in Los Angeles in February 2006. Additionally, he has cashed numerous times on the World Poker Tour and reached multiple final tables at the World Series of Poker.

David Plastik: Live Tournament Participation

David Plastik recorded his first live cash in November 1998. Competing in the $20 Limit Hold’em event at the Player Appreciation Weekend in Inglewood, he finished 4th and earn $1,060.

Following this, in February 2002, Plastik participated in a $300 + $30 Limit Hold’em event at the Poker Classic in Los Angeles. He placed 2nd and earned $85,215.

Building on this success, Plastik achieved a major victory by winning 1st place in the $2,000 + $80 No Limit Hold’em event at the Fourth Annual Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas in December 2005. His prize for this win was $212,730.

Subsequently, in February 2006, Plastik competed in the $1,455 + $125 Limit Hold’em event at the Poker Classic in Los Angeles. He finished 1st and received $306,180.

Later, in July 2006, Plastik played in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 37th World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. He ended up in 7th place, earning $93,610.

Most recently, Plastik entered the $800 No Limit Hold’em – Seniors event at the Aria Poker Classic in Las Vegas in June 2024. He placed 16th and cashed $4,936.
