David Kim is a Korean-American professional poker player from Chicago, Illinois, with over $1.2 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $261,235 came when he finished in 6th place at the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Bellagio in December 2021.

David Kim’s first recorded live cash occurred in June 1997 during the California State Poker Championship. He finished in 6th place in a $300 + 30 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $2,258.

In May 2006, David played in a $5,000 + 200 No Limit Hold’em at the Conquest of Paradise Island. He finished in 6th place and earned $55,000.

Later in August of that year, he participated in a $10,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em at the Bellagio Cup II in Las Vegas. David finished in 5th place and secured a prize of $124,690.

At the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas in April 2008, he earned a cash prize of $65,955. David participated in a $25,000 + 500 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event and secured 36th place.
