David Hom recorded his first live cash in October 2004, he entered the $500 + $65 Limit Hold’em event at the World Poker Finals in Mashantucket, placing 40th and cashing $1,050.

Following this early success, in January 2010, he participated in the $500 + $60 No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack tournament at the Borgata Winter Open in Atlantic City. There, he achieved 8th place and received $9,697.

Then, in December 2013, David competed in a $365 No Limit Hold’em event at the WSOPC Atlantic City, where he secured 4th place and took home $8,586.

In December 2014, he continued to excel by claiming 2nd place in another $365 No Limit Hold’em tournament at the WSOPC Atlantic City, earning $11,036.
