Dario Minieri is an Italian professional poker player and ex-member of Team PokerStars Pro. He earned the nickname “Supernova” for achieving Supernova Elite status, the highest level in the now-defunct PokerStars’ VIP program.

Born on February 10th, 1985, in Rome, Minieri has accumulated nearly $2 million in live tournament winnings, including a WSOP gold bracelet, with his largest cash totaling $528,418.

Dario Minieri recorded his first live cash in November 2005. He participated in a €500 + 40 Pot Limit Hold’em event at the Italian Poker Championships held in Nova Gorica. Minieri achieved 4th position and took home $3,141.

In June 2008, Minieri earned a coveted WSOP bracelet after triumphing in a $2,500 No Limit Hold’em event at the 39th WSOP in Las Vegas. He emerged victorious and collected $528,418, which remains his largest live cash to date.

A year later, in October 2010, he added another title to his resume. He participated in a €3,200 + 300 No Limit Hold’em event at the Italian Poker Tour in Sanremo. Dario finished in 1st place and won $72,474.

Most recently, in March 2024, Minieri competed in a €390 + 60 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the Skill Poker Master held in Nova Gorica. He ended up in 39th position and cashed for $2,498.
