Dao Kim Bac is an American professional poker player from Garden Grove, California, with over $809.5K in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $166,800 came when he finished in 7th place at the Legends of Poker in August 2005. In addition, he clinched his first bracelet at the 38th WSOP in July 2007.

Dao Kim Bac: Live Tournament Participation

Dao Kim Bac’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 2002 during the Larry Flynt Grand Slam of Poker in Gardena. He finished in 4th place in a $300 + 30 Omaha Hi/Lo, cashing $2,195.

He clinched victory during the Five-Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas in December 2004. Dao took part in a $1,500 + 70 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo and won $75,078.

On August 5th, 2005, Dao played in a $300 + 40 No Limit Hold’em at the Legends of Poker. He clinched another victory and $52,380 was added to his winnings.

Shortly after, on August 27th, 2005, he participated in a $5,000 + 150 No Limit Hold’em – WPT Main Event at the Legends of Poker. Dao placed 7th and secured his biggest live cash of $166,800.

At the 38th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in July 2007, he won a cash prize of $157,975. Dao joined in a $1,000 S.H.O.E. and finished in 1st place.

Later in November of that year, he participated in a $2,500 + 90 No Limit Hold’em during the Holiday Bonus Tournament in Los Angeles. Dao placed 4th and earned $27,350.

Most recently, in May 2018, he competed in a $1,500 Omaha Hi/Lo 8 or Better Event #4 during the 49th WSOP. Dao placed 81st and took home $2,823.
