Danny Smith is an American professional poker player from Folsom, California, with over $1.1 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $340,000 came when he finished in 3rd place at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star in February 2006.

Danny Smith’s first recorded live cash occurred in April 2005 at the Third Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic. He finished in 14th place in a $5,000 + 150 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $12,205.

In February 2006, Danny entered in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose. He ended up in 3rd place, securing his best live cash of $340,000 to date.

Later that year, in April, Danny joined in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em at the Fourth Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic. He made 1st place finish, winning $52,040.

Following this, in July, Danny participated in a $5,000 No Limit Hold’em at the 37th WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in 9th place, pocketing $58,468.

Then, in October 2006, Danny played in a $10,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the Festa Al Lago V Poker Tournament. He ended up in 7th place, taking home $75,145.

In June 2010, he took part in a $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha at the 41st WSOP. He finished in 3rd place, claiming a prize of $226,923.

In July 2023, Danny competed in a $60 No Limit Hold’em Turbo 10PM at the South Point Recurring Tournaments. He ended up in 11th place, earning $111.
