Danny Shiff recorded his first live cash in October 2005. He finished 6th in the $3,100 No Limit Hold’em event at the Bellagio Festa Al Lago IV in Las Vegas. He earned $25,485 for his performance.

In November 2007, Shiff participated in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event at the World Poker Finals in Mashantucket. He secured 11th place, adding $78,359 to his poker earnings.
