Daniel debuted in HSP Season 1 Episode 1 on January 16th, 2006. He participated in a $300/600 +$100 ANTE ($1.2K) No Limit Hold ’em game with Amir Nasseri, Barry Greenstein, Doyle Brunson, and others. Daniel incurred a $36,400 loss.

He returned to the tables on January 16th, 2007 in HSP Season 3 Episode 1. He played alongside Mike Matusow, Daniel Negreanu, Shawn Sheikhan, and others in another $300/600 +$100 ANTE ($1.2K) No Limit Hold ’em game. Alaei experienced his biggest loss ending the night down $68,900.

In a subsequent appearance on January 30th, 2007, Daniel achieved his biggest win in HSP Season 3 Episode 3. He competed in a $300/600 +$100 ANTE ($1.2K) No Limit Hold ’em game with Paul Wasicka, Gabe Kaplan, and others. He ended the night up $22,900

Daniel Alaei: Live Tournament Participation

Daniel first appeared in a recorded live tournament in November 2003. He participated in a $500 + 50 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the 4th Annual 49’er Gold Rush Bonanza in San Francisco. He finished 18th and cashed for $700.

In May 2006, Alaei secured his first WSOP Circuit ring by winning at the WSOP Circuit in Las Vegas. He competed in a $1,000 + 50 Pot Limit Omaha event earning $42,951.

Following this, in July 2006, he claimed his first WSOP bracelet by finishing 1st in a $5,000 No Limit Deuce to Seven Draw event at the 37th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Alaei won $430,698.

During the 40th WSOP in Las Vegas in June 2009, Alaei achieved his second WSOP bracelet. He triumphed in a $10,000 World Championship Omaha Hi/Lo event. Daniel took home $445,898 from this win.

He achieved his highest single cash in December 2009. Daniel secured 1st place in a $15,000 + 400 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event at the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas. He won a whopping $1,428,430.

Alaei’s Continued Success in Live Tournaments

Engaging in a $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship, Alaei won his third WSOP bracelet in July 2010. He placed 1st at the 41st WSOP in Las Vegas. His victory added $780,599 in his earnings.

In July 2013, he achieved his fourth WSOP Bracelet at the 44th WSOP in Las Vegas. Daniel won in a $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha event, receiving a grand prize of $852,692.

At the 46th WSOP in Las Vegas in June 2015, he earned $391,097 and his fifth WSOP Bracelet. Alaei took part in a $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship and finished 1st.

His most recent appearance was in June 2023. He entered the 54th WSOP in Las Vegas. Daniel finished 10th in a $50,000 Mixed Games: Poker Players Championship – 7-Handed and earned $115,477.
