Dale Phillips’s first recorded live cash occurred in May 1998 at the 29th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 13th place in a $2,500 7 Card Stud Split, cashing $3,000.

In July 2001, Dale played in a $500 + 50 Omaha 8 or Better during the Tournament Of Champions in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place and won $28,050.

During the 34th WSOP in May 2003, he finished in 3rd place. Dale took part in a $1,500 Omaha Hi/Lo Split and secured his biggest live cash of $34,320.
