Curtis Muller: Early Life

Curtis Muller, originally from Victoria, BC, had always enjoyed poker as a hobby before diving deeper into the game. He had been playing recreationally for years, but when the pandemic hit in 2020, he found himself in Toronto, stuck at home with time on his hands. Instead of letting the isolation get to him, Muller decided to turn the situation into an opportunity to focus on his poker skills, particularly PLO.

He committed himself to learning the ins and outs of PLO, dedicating hours to studying cash games and grinding his way up the stakes. He started at PLO $50 Zoom on PokerStars, working hard to improve his game. His dedication paid off in December 2021 when he took down the EPT Online 13: $2,100 6-max PLO event, earning an impressive $58,451.

Today, Muller, known online as Lokfable, regularly plays at stakes as high as PLO $5,000. He’s also contributing to the PLO community by creating coaching content at PLO Mastermind, a platform founded by Fernando Habegger.
