Zeidman, who initially pleaded not guilty, faced charges on May 17th, 2022, for leading the “Phoenix Organization” from 2004 to 2020. Prosecutors allege he deceived individuals through fake radio advertisements, falsely claiming to offer reliable sports betting advice as a secure investment. Charged with wire fraud, mail fraud, and money laundering, Zeidman allegedly caused victims to send over $25M through interstate wire transfers and private and commercial carriers. Authorities arrested him on May 25, 2022, in Florida. Zeidman was bailed and allowed by the judge to travel to Massachusetts for a job opportunity in April 2023.
