Christina Gollins

Christina Gollins, known as Baby Shark, is an American professional poker player from Henderson, Nevada. With total live tournament earnings of $890,690, her best live cash of $105,444. It came from winning 1st place at the WSOPC Commerce Casino in Los Angeles in May 2024. Gollins is also a two-time WSOP Circuit Ring winner.

Christina Gollins: Early Life

Christina transitioned from a successful career in property management to poker after being introduced to the game by a friend. Her background in psychology helped her develop strong people-reading skills, which prove valuable at the poker table. Initially focused on cash games, she later shifted to tournament play, where she refined her aggressive style and strategy.

After moving to Las Vegas, Gollins rapidly improved by competing in live events against strong players. Her breakthrough came with a third-place finish at the 2022 WSOP Ladies Championship and a $105,000 win at the WSOP Circuit Commerce Casino event. With over $800,000 in earnings, Gollins has become a dominant figure in the tournament circuit. Despite initial family concerns, she proved her decision to pursue professional poker was right, thriving on her ability to adapt and stay focused.

Gollins recorded her first live cash in August 2020, finishing 1st in the $200 NLH Bounty event. She earned $1,546 at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino Recurring Tournaments in Las Vegas. 

In February 2022, Gollins placed 4th in the $2,500 NLH UltimateStack event. There at the Venetian DeepStack Extravaganza I in Las Vegas, she earned $83,847.

In June 2022, she finished 3rd in the $1,000 NLH Ladies Championship at the 53rd WSOP in Las Vegas, taking home $73,604.

The next year, in March 2023, she placed 6th in the $2,200 NLH event. There at the Wynn Millions Poker Series in Las Vegas, she won $57,467.

In June 2023, she finished 11th in the $5,000 NLH Freezeout 8-Handed event at the 54th WSOP in Las Vegas, earning $40,769.

Her best live cash came in May 2024, when she won 1st place in the $600 NLH The Housewarming Opening Event at the WSOPC Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, earning $105,444.

In November 2024, Gollins placed 99th in the $600 NLH Mini Main event at the WSOPC Los Angeles, winning $1,278.
