Chris McClung’s first live cash was recorded in January 2006 at the L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles. He participated in $1,060 Limit Hold’em, placing 11th and earned $2,731.

In January 2007, he competed at the WPT Borgata Winter Open, participating in $560 No Limit Hold’em. McClung finished 2nd and cashed for $50,731.

Four years later, in January 2011, he entered $1,500 No Limit Hold’em at the UB Poker Pro Canada Classic II in Kahnawake. There, he took the tournament down, netting $71,500.

McClung achieved his best live cash on October 6th, 2011 by competing in £10,300 No Limit Hold’em Six Max High Roller Turbo at the EPT London. He secured 3rd place, bringing home $131,447 in prize money.
