Chen Guangcheng

Chen Guangcheng is a Chinese professional poker player, who also works as a commentator for CPG events, and takes on the role as a tournament director, overseeing the organization of various poker events in China. He boasts live earnings exceeding $696.1K, with a notable best live cash of over $332.6K. Guangcheng’s influence extends beyond the tables as one of the ambassadors of GGPoker’s Team China.

Chen Guangcheng: Live Tournament Participation

Chen Guangcheng’s first cash in live tournaments happened in June 2014 at the ACOP Platinum Series V in Macau. He competed in a HK$ 2,500 No Limit Hold’em $2,500 KO Bounty event. Guangcheng finished in 4th place and earned $2,012.

He came back for the Asia Pacific Poker Tour in May 2015, in Macau. Chen won the HK$ 4,500 + 500 No Limit Hold’em APPT Macau Warm-up Event, taking home $41,620.

Guangcheng competed in a HK$ 7,200 + 800 No Limit Hold’em Baby Dragon event, on February 1st, 2018. It happened at the APPT Macau Poker Cup, in Macau. Chen finished 3rd, winning $58,431.

Chen clinched 1st place on February 7th, 2018, in a HK$ 18,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the Doupai Cup in Macau. He cashed for $133,128.

At the China Poker Games in Sanya Bay in August 2018, Chen finished 5th in a ¥ 10,000 No Limit Hold’em CPG Main Event, cashing for $95,531.

Chen’s best live cash came in March 2024 from an 8th place finish in a $25,000 + 1,500 No Limit Hold’em 8-Handed Silver Main Event at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju. He earned $182,000.

His most recent live tournament participation was in April 2024. Chen competed in a KRW 4,000,000 No Limit Hold’em Single Day High Roller Event at the Asian Poker Tour in Jeju. He finished 10th and earned $5,312.
