Chad Layne is an American professional poker player from Las Vegas, Nevada, with over $1.075 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $201,160 came when he finished in 2nd place at the WSOPC Las Vegas in September 2005. In addition, he won at the WPT Championship in April 2004.
Chad Layne’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 1994 at the Gold Coast Open in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place in a $200 + 30 Limit Hold’em, winning $28,823.
In December 2003, Chad played in a $10,000 + 200 – WPT No Limit Hold’em Championship Event #15 at the Bellagio Five-Diamond World Poker Classic. He finished in 7th place and earned $72,745.
He joined in a $500 + 40 No Limit Hold’em at the WPT Championship in April 2004. Chad finished in 1st place and won $30,846.
At the WSOPC in Las Vegas in September 2005, he secured his biggest live cash of $201,160. Chad participated in a $500 + 50 No Limit Hold’em and finished in 2nd place.
Following this, on July 16th, 2006, Chad entered in a $2,000 No Limit Hold’em Shootout at the 37th WSOP in Las Vegas. He reached the final table by placing 5th and took home $43,680.
Shortly after, on July 28th, he returned to the 37th WSOP to compete in a $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em – World Championship Event. Chad secured 316th position and cashed $34,636.
Continuing his poker career, he finished in 5th place at the Fifth Annual Five Star World Poker Classic, earning $36,460.
Most recently, in July 2017, he engaged in a $800 No Limit Hold’em – Deepstack – 8-Handed Bracelet Event #36 at the 55th WSOP. Chad placed 431st and cashed $1,682.
