Chad Hicks is an American professional poker player and a group manager at Toyota USA from Dalhart, Texas, with over $124.1K in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $73,867 came when he finished 5th at the WSOPC Dallas in November 2022.
He attended The University of Texas at Arlington, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. In September 2004, he entered his first live poker tournament at the UltimateBet Poker Classic in Palm Beach, finishing in 3rd place. Two years later, in September 2006, he joined KPMG as a Senior Risk Management professional, where he worked until November 2008. Fast forward to October 2019, he took on the role of National Manager for Enterprise Risk and Governance at Toyota USA, a position he held until June 2022. Later that same year, he was promoted to Group Manager and Head of Enterprise Risk and Governance, a role he continues to hold to this day.
Chad Hicks’ first recorded live cash occurred on September 27th, 2004 at the Ultimatebet Poker Classic in Palm Beach. He finished in 3rd place in a $500 + 40 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $6,063.

Fast forward to November 2022. At the WSOPC in Dallas , he secured his biggest live cash of $73,867. In this event, Chad engaged in a $1,700 No Limit Hold’em Main Event #10 and finished in 5th place.
At the WSOPC in Dallas in November 2023, he cashed $4,213. Chad played in a $1,700 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event #9 and secured 89th place.
Later in November of that year, he participated in a $1,700 No Limit Hold’em Main Event Event #11 at the WSOPC in Dallas. Chad placed 28th and took home $6,353.
In March 2024, Chad competed in a $400 Pot Limit Omaha Ring Event #9 at the WSOPC in Tulsa. He ended up in 23rd place, earning $600.
