Calvin Lee: Poker Career

Calvin Lee embarked on his poker journey on June 18th, 2006, by participating in the $340 Limit Hold’em event at the Gold Strike Poker Classic in Tunica. He then secured 13th position and took home $474. After a hiatus, he returned to the scene on November 8th, 2008, for the $330 No Limit Hold’em tournament at the 2008 Fall Poker Round-Up in Pendleton, where he secured the 16th position and pocketed $1,156.

It was on June 14th, 2016, that he achieved a significant milestone in his career. Competing in the $3,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed (Event #21) at the 47th World Series of Poker – WSOP 2016 in Las Vegas, Calvin claimed the top spot, securing a remarkable $531,577 prize.

Continuing his successful streak, on November 3rd, 2017, he dominated the KRW3,300,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 2017 Japan High Roller Festival in Incheon, earning the first-place title and a prize of $50,633.

On May 20th, 2018, at the All Japan Poker Championship (AJPC Asian Circuit) in Incheon, Calvin secured another 1st place finish in the KRW 20,000,000 No Limit Hold’em Special High Roller event, pocketing $116,153.

His most recent cash (at the time of writing) was on November 26th, 2023, n the KRW 5,000,000 No Limit Hold’em-Kairos Main 500 at the World Focused Poker-WFP Sparta II & Kairos Hardcore Tournament in Incheon. Despite finishing 8th, Calvin earned $18,123.
