Brock Wilson is a regular on the PokerGO Tour. He gained attention at the US Poker Open in 2021 with two-final table finishes. A young yet accomplished pro poker player from Ardsley, New York with over $6 million in career earnings.
A graduate of Fordham University with a degree in Finance, Wilson focused on increasing his bankroll and raising his game during his time in college. Despite facing a strong interest in the game, he chose to accept an analyst position with Merrill Lynch in New York. His poker journey, which began with = strong dedication, is undoubtedly a powerful motivation for anyone looking to follow their passion. In 2018, Wilson had everything a young work professional could want. With a stable position in New York City, the possibilities for pursuing a lucrative career in finance were endless. Wilson finished sixth in the $300+40 NLH tournament for $4,328 at the 2010 Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza in Las Vegas last October 2010. It was his first live tournament in playing poker and the debut of his career. In May 2015, he made another impressive run, finishing in 11th place for $1,515 in the WSOP Circuit Event #8 $580 NLH.
Beginning with a modest sum of cashes, Brock Wilson steadily built up significant cash earnings while continually producing better results in terms of finishes. In 2018, he was victorious at the $3,250 NLH – High Roller Event #12 for $62,250 among 58 entries. Another win by Wilson was at the Borgata Fall Poker Open in Atlantic City. He competed against Daniel Walsh in a 71-entry field for $24,015.
His decision to switch careers proved to be the right one for him. Because in 2019, he participated in a two- month tournament tour and earned close to one million. Wilson earned $619,536 for placing second in the MILLIONS World $25K Super High Roller in 2019 – Biggest cash to date. Followed by another runner up finish at $25K 2019/2020 WPT Rock & Roll Poker Open for $301,215.
ne of his notable achievements was a fourth-place finish at the $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em event during the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) World Poker Tour (WPT) tournament, where he earned $286,250. He continued to participate in various tournaments, increasing his list of cashes.
In the 2022 WPT $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em event in Florida, he came in second place, competing against Sean Perry, and took home over $416,000. Just a few months later, he secured a third-place finish at the $3,500 No-Limit Hold’em event during another WPT event in Florida, collecting more than $411,000 in winnings.
Wilson has recently joined the Poker Masters series in September 2023. At the three $10K NLH series, he amassed a total of over $190,000. This gives Wilson a Total Live Earnings of more than $6 million as per writing. Also, ranking 15th place at the New York, USA All TIme Money List.
