Brian Taylor recorded his first live cash in May 2003, he entered a $100 + $20 Seven Card Stud tournament at the Sport of Kings in Inglewood, where he placed first and took home $6,560.

In August 2005, Taylor participated in a $500 + $50 Pot Limit Hold’em event at the WSOPC Tunica in Robinsonville. He finished in third place, earning $11,525.

Following this success, in May 2006, he competed in a $1,000 + $60 No Limit Hold’em tournament at the WSOPC Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. He again finished in third place, earning $18,236.

Later, in January 2008, he took part in the WPT Championship Event at the Gold Strike World Poker Open in Tunica, which had a buy-in of $10,000 + $300. He placed 23rd and cashed $12,060.

Furthermore, in February 2008, Taylor entered the L.A. Poker Classic, a $9,900 + $100 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event in Los Angeles. He finished in 17th place, cashing $48,840.

Months after, in April 2008, he achieved a significant victory by winning a $300 + $40 No Limit Hold’em tournament at the IP Poker Classic in Biloxi, taking first place and earning $22,630.

In April 2022, he participated in a $1,650 No Limit Hold’em High Roller event at the Eastern Poker Tour in West Fargo. He finished in second place and earned $13,440.
