Before Brian got into poker, he worked in the used car business. In 2016, he took a risk and borrowed $10,000 from a friend to play blackjack. He used smart strategies and turned that $10,000 into a big win of $113,000. With this newfound money, he confidently entered a high-stakes live poker tournament called the $111,111 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller for One Drop. Surprisingly, he finished in fifth place, earning a substantial $1.1 million. This bold move not only marked a turning point in Brian’s poker career but also showed that he could turn well-thought-out risks into big successes.

Brian started playing poker in big tournaments at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) on May 11th, 2001, earning $78,085. After becoming a skilled player, he won his first WSOP bracelet in 2019, earning it in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em – Super Turbo Bounty event.

In 2013, Brian had another first place finish in a tournament in New Orleans, taking home $13,769. Seven years later. Brian’s latest tournament was on January 15th, 2024, at the $300 No Limit Hold’em Winter Gala 2024 in Aledo. Although he finished in 44th place, he still won $800. Throughout his career, Brian has earned a total of $3,854,402 in live tournaments as of today, showcasing his skill and dedication to the game.

First Bracelet of the 2019 World Series of Poker

Brian Green snagged the first bracelet of the 50th Annual World Series of Poker, conquering a field of 204 participants in Event #2: $10,000 NLH Super Turbo Bounty. He took home $345,669 and his first gold bracelet, adding to his lifetime earnings of over $3 million. His previous feat was a fifth-place finish in the 2016 $111,111 High Roller for One Drop, earning him $1,117,923.
