Brett Jungblut’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 2002 during the Third Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open in Tunica. He finished in 9th place in a $500 + 40 Limit Texas Hold’em, cashing $3,596.

In March 2004, Brett played in a $300 + 30 No Limit Hold’em during the Winnin’ o’ the Green in Bell Gardens. He finished in 1st place and won $34,800.
