Brekstyn Schutten is an American professional poker player from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has accumulated earnings exceeding $5.4M from live tournaments, with his highest cash of $1,405,641. During his poker career, he has won the World Poker Tour SHRPO Championship Event 18 in April 2021 and earned a WSOP bracelet at the 55th World Series of Poker (WSOP) in June 2024.
Schutten’s first recorded live cash occurred in October 2016 where he placed 26th in a $1,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em at the Mid States Poker Tour in Michigan. He cashed $5,393.
Moving in April 2021, he finished 1at in a $3,500 No Limit Hold’em at the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Hollywood. He won a cash prize of $1,261,095.
