Brandon “The Bounty Hunter” Cantu, born on May 10th, 1981, is an American poker player residing in Vancouver, Washington, United States. With total live earnings of $4,691,837 and a best live cash of $1,000,000.

One of his career highlights includes winning the WPT $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event at the World Poker Tour Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose, United States, on March 10th, 2008. He claimed the first-place prize of $1,000,000.

Cantu’s first recorded tournament occurred on June 27th, 2006, in Las Vegas, United States. Competing in the WSOP $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event at the 37th World Series of Poker. He achieved a remarkable 1st place finish, securing $757,839.

Later that year, on December 1st, also in Las Vegas, he participated in the $1,590 No Limit Hold’em event at the Fifth Annual Five Diamond World Poker Classic. This time, he secured 2nd place, which brought him $136,835.

Additionally, on June 20th, 2009, again in Las Vegas, Cantu entered the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event at the 40th World Series of Poker (WSOP 2009). He finished in 2nd place, earning a substantial $403,951.

Subsequently, on March 15th, 2010, in Las Vegas, he competed in the $5,150 No Limit Hold’em event at the 2010 Wynn Classic. Cantu emerged victorious, claiming 1st place and $363,844.

Furthermore, on September 26th, 2012, in Cannes, France. He took part in the WSOP €10,450 No Limit Hold’em – Mixed Max (Event #5) at the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE 2012). He finished in 2nd place, garnering $208,038.

Returning to Las Vegas on December 20th, 2022, Cantu competed in the PKRGO $10,000 No Limit Hold’em – Aria High Roller #36 at the PokerGO Tour (PGT) Aria High Roller Series 2022. He finished in 3rd place, securing $62,400.

Most recently, on June 5th, 2024, back in Las Vegas, Cantu participated in the WSOP $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha – 8-Handed (Bracelet Event #18) at the 55th World Series of Poker (WSOP 2024). He finished in 189th place, pocketing $3,004.
