Bill Gurley

Bill Gurley is an American poker player and entrepreneur, residing in Dickinson, Texas, and born on May 10th, 1966. He serves as a general partner at Benchmark, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm in San Francisco, California. Gurley has also appeared on Poker After Dark.

Born on May 10th, 1966, in Texas, he moved to purse Computer Engineering degree in University of Florida from 1986 to 1989. After graduating, he went on to the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, where he completed his MBA in Finance from 1991 to 1993.

Before becoming a prominent venture capitalist, Gurley gained experience in various roles within the tech industry. His early career included positions in investment banking and as a research analyst, where he developed a deep understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
