Ben Sarnoff recorded his first live cash in July 1999, he placed 7th in a $500 + $40 No Limit Hold’em event at the Orleans Open in Las Vegas, earning $6,170.

Following this, in May 2005, Sarnoff finished 3rd in a $2,000 + $80 No Limit Hold’em tournament at the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Poker Festival in Stateline, earning $28,380.

Later on, in February 2006, Sarnoff placed 34th in the $10,000 WPT Main Event No Limit Hold’em at the World Poker Tour Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose, earning $25,000.
