Ben Chung’s first recorded live cash occurred in August 2003 at the Calgary Classic. He finished in 8th place in a C$100 No Limit Omaha Hi, cashing $534.

Following this, in September 2005, Ben played in a $300 + 30 No Limit Hold’em at the California State Poker Championship. He made 1st place finish, winning $75,266.

Later that year, in December, Ben entered in a $200 + 30 No Limit Hold’em at the Ho Ho Hold’em in Bell Gardens. He clinched another victory, winning $56,920.

Then, in January 2006, he participated in a $294 + 36 No Limit Hold’em at the L.A Poker Classic. He ended up in 2nd place, securing his best live cash of $145,042 to date.

In April 2013, he took part in a $140 No Limit Hold’em at the Liz Flynt Spring Poker Classic in Gardena. Ben made 1st place finish, adding $83,000 to his winning $83,000.

Continuing his career, in April 2017, Ben joined in $570 No Limit Hold’em at the Commerce Poker Series in Los Angeles. He finished in 1st place, winning $55,035.

In May 2023, Ben competed in a $400 No Limit Hold’em – Ultimate Stack Event #61 at the DeepStack Extravaganza II in Las Vegas. He ended up in 27th place, earning $798.
