Asher Derei is a British professional poker player from London, with over $1.3 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $132,480 came when he finished in 1st place at the Master Classics of Poker in November 1998.
Asher Derei’s first recorded live cash occurred in August 1996 during the Legends of Poker in Los Angeles. He finished in 2nd place in a $50 + 5 Limit Hold’em, cashing $13,070.
During the Master Classics of Poker at Amsterdam City Centre in November 1998, he finished in 1st place. Asher joined in a HFI5,000 No Limit Hold’em and won his biggest live cash of $132,480.
In December 2001, Asher competed in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em at the United States Poker Championship in Atlantic City. Asher also finished in 1st place for $40,560
Luck favored him as he won $42,348 at the Fourth Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open in Tunica in January 2003. Asher joined in a $500 + 40 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Event #6 and finished in 1st place.
Asher continued his winning streak during the United States Poker Championship in September 2004. He participated in a $300 + 35 No Limit Hold’em and won $84,009.
In March 2005, he competed in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em during the Rio Las Vegas Poker Festival. He dominated the table and won $93,120.
Most recently, in June 2009, he competed in a $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. at the 40th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Asher placed 12th and took home $17,939.
