Artem Maksimov’s first recorded live cash occurred in October 2015 during the Live Events International Fall Open Montenegro in Budva. He finished in 5th place in a €1,100 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, earning $3,506.

In October 2021, Maksimov played in a $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Deepstack 8 Handed Championship Event at the 52nd WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in 4th place and earned an impressive $242,236.

In June 2023, Maksimov joined the $25,000 PLO High Roller 8-Handed Bracelet Event at the 54th WSOP. He finished in 17th place and took home $82,754.

Later in October of that year, he entered in a $10,100 PLO Event at the PGT PLO Series II in Rozvadov. He placed 5th and earned $79,800.

Following this, Maksimov joined in a $10,100 PLO Event at the PGT PLO Series in March 2024. He finished in 6th place and took home $44,500.

Moreover, he finished in 6th place at the PGT PLO Series II on October 20th, 2024. He participated in a $15,100 PLO event, and pocketed $52,800.

Just a few days later, on October 24th 2024, Maksimov competed in a PGT Super High Roller Bowl Pot Limit Omaha. There, he placed 2nd and secured his biggest live cash of $900,000.
