Anuj Agarwal: Early Life

Anuj Agarwal was raised in San Diego, California. He attended the University of California – Berkeley in 2001, majoring in Biological Science, and graduated in 2006. Afterward, he pursued a Doctor of Law degree at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, completing it in 2014 while working as a full-time professional poker player. He also manages his card business “cards_connoisseur,” on Instagram.

Agarwal: Live Tournament Participation

Agarwal’s first recorded live cash occurred in August 2010 at Legends of Poker, Los Angeles (Bell Gardens). He finished 12th place in a $350 + 25 No Limit Hold’em – Bounty, departing with $625.

In February 2018, he finished 3rd in a $1,100 No Limit Hold’em – LAPC 25th Anniversary Double Stack at the WPT L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles. He earned a cash prize of $169,700.
