Angelo Besnainou’s first recorded live cash occurred in April 1997 during the Spring Festival in Paris. He finished in 5th place in a Pot Limit Omaha, cashing $1,557.

In January 2000, Angelo played in a $5,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event at the Carnivale of Poker III in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place and won his biggest live cash of $386,900.

Later in May of that year, he participated in a $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em – World Championship at the 31st World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Angelo finished in 14th place and earned $45,640.

Following this, in August 2005, Angelo entered in a £5,000 + 50 Main Event – No Limit Hold’em during the European Poker Championships in London. He finished in 7th place and took home $34,525.

At the Barrière Poker Tour in Deauville in August 2010, he won a cash prize of $92,620. Angelo joined in a €1,500 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event and clinched victory.

Moreover, in September 2012, Angelo entered in a €15,000 No Limit Hold’em – High Roller Event at the WPT Rendez-Vous à Paris. He reached the final table by placing 3rd and cashed $43,511.
