Andy Ward’s first recorded live cash occurred in December 2000 during the Pot of Gold in Reno. He finished in 3rd place in a $100 Twilight Pot Limit Hold’em, cashing $1,066.

In February 2001, Andy played in a £200 No Limit Holdem during the British Open in London. He finished in 2nd place and earned $15,360.

During the Gold Strike World Poker Open in Tunica in January 2007, he finished in 1st place. Andy took part in a $500 No Limit Hold’em and won $81,694.

Later in July of that year, he participated in a $1,500 Limit Hold’em – Shootout at the 38th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Andy finished in 2nd place and secured his biggest live cash of $124,816.
