Andrew Brown was raised in Valatie, New York. After high school, he attended Rochester Institute of Technology, where he participated in wrestling and crew. However, he eventually quit and moved to New York City for an internship, working at the front desk of the Marriott Marquis. He transferred to New York University to pursue his hospitality degree, and that’s where his interest in card games began.
Brown was first seen in a recorded live tournament in December 2006. He placed 24th in a $300 + 40 No Limit Hold’em at the Trump Classic, Atlantic City. Brown took home $1,488.
In June 2008, he finished 1st in a $2,000 Omaha Hi/Lo at the 39th World Series of Poker, Las Vegas. He earned a cash prize of $226,483.
At the 43rd WSOP in Las Vegas, he achieved a notable accomplishment in June 2012, securing 2nd place in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha and winning an impressive $408,393.
