Andreas Hoivold is a Norwegian professional poker player originally from Sunderland, England, who later moved to Kristiansand, where he spent most of his life. He has accumulated earnings exceeding $1.9 million from live tournaments. During his poker career, he won the European Poker Tour Dortmund in March 2007, securing his best live cash of $880,572.

Originally from Sunderland, England, Hoivold moved to Kristiansand and attended the University of Agder in 1994. Hoivold’s first recorded live cash occurred in November 2005 where he placed 9th in a €220 No Limit Hold’em at the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam City Centre. He cashed $1,673.
