Anders Berg’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 2004 during the Crown Australasian Poker Championship in Melbourne. He placed 14th in a A$450 + 50 Pot Limit Hold’em cashing $379.

In January 2005, Anders played in a A$1,500 + 100 Limit Hold’em WPP World Speed Poker Championship during the Crown Australian Poker Championships. He finished in 4th place and cashed $23,323.

Later on October 27th of that year, he participated in a €400 + 40 No Limit Hold’em at the European Poker Tour in Dublin. Anders clinched victory and won $30,167.
