Amit Kanodia: Early Life

Kanodia is a proud graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. He started his own business called Kanodia Industries after leaving his job, and it’s now successfully run by his family. He’s also the co-founder and CEO of Mad Over Poker, a poker startup in India. Along with his friends Avinash Pitti and Abhishek Pitti, they started Mad Over Poker in April 2017.

Amit didn’t stop there. He used his knowledge of the poker industry to create Host.Games, an extension of Mad Over Poker. He wanted to fix problems like centralized game structures, trust issues, transparency, financial flexibility, and keeping user data safe in gaming. His career shows how he’s committed to developing new ideas and succeeding in different industries.

He also accidentally came across the movie ‘Rounders,’ which quickly became one of his all-time favorite films. This unexpected discovery inspired him to explore the world of professional poker, and it ended up changing the course of his life.

In the latest update on September 10th, 2022, Amit Kanodia joined the Triton Series for the first time. Unfortunately, he didn’t win any money in his first attempt. He played in the $200k NLH Coin Rivet Invitational event but didn’t earn a cash prize.
